Assistant Professor (Fixed Term, Part Time)
About the programme
As a result of expansion and development, a new role provide an opportunity to join the established programme team of the Trent Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. The programme is a partnership between the Universities of Nottingham and Lincoln and three local NHS Trusts in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Our intake is 32 trainees per year, and the programme is approved by the Health & Care Professions Council and accredited by the British Psychological Society.
About the roles
This is a Research Tutor post, with a small component of Academic Tutor duties, based at the University of Nottingham. The role involve offering and supervising doctoral research, therefore there is the opportunity to develop a stream of research in accordance with your own interests and experience. The role also has an element of academic assessment, pastoral support and curriculum delivery, enabling you to get involved across the DClinPsy programme.
About you
You will be a qualified Clinical Psychologist who is registered with the HCPC and eligible for Chartered Status with the BPS. Ideally you will have substantial post-qualification experience, although less experienced applicants are also encouraged to apply. You will have genuine passion for training others and a broad range of knowledge, skills and attributes that position you to work effectively in a busy, diverse role.
This post is offered on a part time basis (sessions negotiable up to 29 hours per week), on a fixed term contract ending 1st April 2029.
