Research Fellow in Inclusion and Communication in Financial Services (Fixed term)

Salary:  £32,348 to £43,414 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for a researcher in the field of inclusion and communication in financial services to develop and deliver individual and collaborative research in the area of communication in financial services and make a contribution to the direction of research programmes in this field at the University

The role will be responsible for generating new intellectual understanding/knowledge through the application of knowledge and for developing ideas for application of research outcomes. The post holder will sustain and pursue a research plan in the particular field on inclusion and communication in financial services, and will develop new concepts and ideas.  Where appropriate, they will contribute to developing and win support for innovative research development proposals and funding bids.   

Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent in the relevant subject area plus sufficient breadth or depth of specialist knowledge in the discipline to develop research programmes and methodologies.

The post is available on a fixed term contract from 1st January 2023 to 31st December 2023. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may be considered.
