Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Industrial Economics based in the Industrial Economics Department of Nottingham University Business School. The candidate appointed will be expected to engage in high-quality research in any area of industrial economics, broadly defined. The person appointed will be expected to contribute to teaching modules across a range of programmes offered by the department and School at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive levels. Appointed candidates will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration.
Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant area, or be close to completion, together with previous teaching experience in relevant subjects at HE level. They should have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in modules the department delivers. Research interests in relevant areas that complement existing research within the Industrial Economics Department and publications in academic journals in relevant areas are also required. Candidates should have the ability to develop their own research area, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team.
This is a permanent, full-time post (36.25 hours).
