Salary:  £44,263 to £56,021 per annum (pro-rata if applicable), depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited to join the social work team in the School of Sociology & Social Policy at the University of Nottingham. The Centre for Social Work offers Social Work England (SWE) accredited undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes and is an active member of the D2N2 Social Work Teaching Partnership.

We are looking for someone who is educated at least to Masters level, a qualified social worker and registered with SWE. The successful candidate will have responsibility for developing and delivering teaching on modules and Skills Days to students on our BA and MA Social Work programmes. They will be required to assess undergraduate and postgraduate student assignments. They will also be expected to provide tutoring, teaching and assessment across the social work programmes. We are looking for someone who can draw on their experience of social work practice in teaching to integrate theory and practice. In addition, this role includes involving people with lived experience in teaching and assessment.
