Are you looking for a role in a supportive and proactive team that works collaboratively with multiple University departments and external accommodation providers to deliver an excellent student experience?
Applications are invited for the role of Accommodation Officer based in Accommodation Services, part of the Student and Campus Life division. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of our front facing team delivering excellent customer service to our students, processing student accommodation bookings delivering our Book with confidence guarantee, as well as assisting in the arrival and post arrival student experience.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills will be crucial as you will collaborate with both internal University departments and external accommodation providers, proactively engaging all stakeholders. We are looking for self-motivated candidates who work well in a team, and have excellent communication, IT, and planning skills.
You will receive a generous holiday entitlement and a benefits package including a contributory pension scheme.
There are 2 positions available. These positions are offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered.
Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
