Salary:  £20,761 to £21,197 per annum pro-rata (£11.01-11.25 per hour) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Your role as a Cleaner: 

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and take pride in their work to join our team of cleaners at our prestigious sporting faclity the David Ross Sports Village on University Park. 

As part of your role, you will support the general facility operations ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained. You will work both independently and as part of a team and will be required to clean a wide range of sports areas and providing excellent customer service at all times. 

Most of all, we are looking for someone who will respect and embrace the University’s values and also encourage and connect with their colleagues, our students, and customers. Ideally candidates will have experience of cleaning within a similar environment however full training will be provided.

Posts & Hours of Work

Post 1: Hours of work are 7 per week, 2 days out of 7 to be arranged (mainly Saturday and Sunday between 615am and 945am) Flexibility will be required

The successful candidate for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which will run each day, Monday to Friday mornings on the first week of appointment. Further details will be given at interview.
