Salary:  £26,396 to £32,348 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

We are looking for a friendly, engaging and enthusiastic person to coordinate, implement and deliver the administration in the School of Medicine at Derby across the range of its research and postgraduate research student activities.

This role will provide support and advice to staff based at the School’s Derby site and will involve working alongside colleagues in the Education Centre and with our University of Derby Hospital Trust partners to address day-to-day issues running the university site at Derby. 

You will have experience of monitoring financial budgets and projects and of working with external stakeholders. You will possess excellent planning, organisation and communication skills. You will work alongside the Senior Operations Manager and will have an opportunity to develop new skills to fully support this role.

This post is offered on a permanent contract, hours of work are part-time (21.75 hours a week), based at the Royal Derby Hospital. Occasionally the role holder will need to work on the Nottingham campus. There is currently a free bus service between the Royal Derby Hospital and the University of Nottingham main campus.
