We are inviting applications for two Senior Administrative Coordinators (QMC/Derby split) to join our Assessments Team, part of the Education Centre in the School of Medicine in the QMC Campus, and at our Derby Campus.
We are seeking enthusiastic team workers who can work independently and as part of a team. You will be friendly, proactive, and self-motivated and not fazed by frequently changing priorities and demands. We are expecting that you will have a minimum of qualifications at A Level or equivalent and/or relevant experience in administration; plus, excellent IT skills and a proven ability to work to tight deadlines.
In this role, you will co-ordinate the administration of our Undergraduate (UG) Medicine Assessments within the school and provide an excellent level of support to the Assessment Leadership Team. This mainly involves the coordination and administration of assessments on key skills and knowledge along with governance and quality assurance checks.
You’ll manage a variety of relationships with a range of stakeholders, regularly handling confidential information, and monitoring and tracking student progression throughout our programmes. Liaising with central support services, academic staff and the wider UG Programmes Team, you will be key to ensuring the smooth delivery of both summative and formative written and practical assessments.
These are hybrid working posts with your days split between working from home and working on site in the Education Centre, in the Queen’s Medical Centre at Nottingham, and at our Derby Campus.
We will provide full training on all aspects of assessment administration for the successful candidates.
These posts are offered on a permanent contract. Working hours are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however, job share arrangements may be considered.
Informal enquiries may be addressed to Áine O’Neill-Mason, email: mszaso@nottingham.ac.uk. Please note that applications sent directly to this email address will not be accepted.
