The University of Nottingham is a world leading research and educational institution as evidencing by its strong performance and position as a World top 100 University in the QS World University Rankings. However it operates in an increasingly competitive and crowded global environment and it has now recognised that in order to ensure its reputational properly reflects its strengths that it must be more purposeful in its approach. 

To that end it has designed several multi-year programmes of activity clustered around its 'University without borders' proposition, including  distinct activities around global reputation, rankings and partnerships. 

This new role will be integral to the development and leadership of these activities, the role will be supported by a small dedicated staff pool but will work with academic and professional services  across the institution. The role will suit an independent, highly motivated and experienced professional with good knowledge of the international higher education environment.

This is a full-time (36.25 hours) fixed term post for 18 months. Request for part-time will be considered.

Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
