Salary:  £27,584 to £33,804 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The University of Nottingham has ambitious plans for strategic investment to drive our University strategy.  The Strategic Funds finance team provides support and Financial Management to project managers and to University Governance processes.

Examples of the projects we support are, Castle Meadow Campus, Digital Core, Digital Engagement, Research Strategy and University of Nottingham Online.  We would like to strengthen our team by appointing a Senior Finance Assistant to work with the team and improve our efficiency.

 Tasks will be across all of the strategic funds and will include:

  • Project set-up, transactional processing and project maintenance in Agresso
  • Shared inbox monitoring and query management
  • Commitment recording 
  • Updating our investment tracker

The successful candidate will have good communication and written skills, be inquisitive and proactive with an appetite to learn more about finance
