The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nottingham is seeking to appoint a senior member of the teaching team for the Electro-mechanical Engineering Degree Level Apprenticeship programme. The third cohort for this programme commences in September 2023. This is an exciting time to join the delivery team to help shape the programme and inspire the next generation of engineers and broaden the reach of professional engineering skills education. 

The appointee will work with the Head of Department and the Director of the Electro-mechanical Engineering degree level apprenticeship programme to deliver the 5-year apprenticeship, liaising throughout with employers and apprentices to ensure a quality employer and apprentice experience.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, able to demonstrate an engineering background, understanding and experience for example being a Chartered Engineer, and a track record of developing and/or training individuals and/or teams in acquiring knowledge, skills and/or behaviours. Experience of face-to-face, on-line and blended learning environments and teaching experience at level 6 including assessment of student progress will be an advantage.

You will be able to develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and you will have a passion to deliver the highest possible standards of apprenticeship learning experience.
