Are you interested in the fields of dark energy and modifications of gravity? If so, we invite you to apply for this Leverhulme Trust funded post.

If your research interests include ways of testing these theories with cosmological and astrophysical observations or laboratory and collider experiments, we particularly encourage you to apply.

These positions are to work with Prof Clare Burrage, and form part of the research project “New Searches for Dark Energy” funded by the Leverhulme Trust. If successful, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse set of researchers in the Particle Cosmology group in Nottingham, and with the closely connected Quantum Gravity and Astronomy groups. We are looking for a researcher who can both work together with Prof. Burrage on the above project, and who has the potential to develop their own lines of research.

You will need to have, or be close to completion of a PhD in Physics or Mathematics or a related subject area, and have a track record of publishing and disseminating your work through conferences and seminars as appropriate to your career stage.

This is a fixed-term post until 30 April 2022. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week), however job share arrangements may be considered.

Informal enquiries may be addressed to Clare Burrage, Clare.Burrage@nottingham.ac.uk Please note that applications sent directly to these email addresses will not be accepted.
