Salary:  £23,754 to £28,331 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The post is an exciting opportunity to join the Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU). The unit is a rapidly growing academic unit which designs and conducts high quality national and international multicentre trials across a range of health topics collaborating with clinicians and academics within the University and local NHS trust.

The unit is seeking to recruit a Trial Coordinator to work within our multidisciplinary team and support the successful delivery of high quality trials. The successful candidate will work on one or more projects working closely with the trial manager or senior trial manager throughout all aspects of trial set-up, recruitment, close-out, analysis and reporting. This will include working closely with the Chief Investigator, liaising with and training site staff, working with the relevant research networks, and performing site monitoring visits as well as maintaining study progress documentation. 

Candidates should have experience of working in a clinical trial research environment; expert in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, whilst proficient in other Microsoft packages. They should have good written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus, and be able to demonstrate planning and organisational skills. 

This is a full-time post (36.25 hours per week), preferably, however applications are invited from candidates wanting to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
