Cleaner (Medical School - QMC)

Your role as a Cleaner: 

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas. 

Based at the Medical School within the Queens Medical Centre main duties include the general cleaning of offices, teaching spaces, laboratories, toilets, corridors, and stairwells providing excellent customer service at all times. 

Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Available Post: 

  • Hours of work are 15 per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged (mainly Monday to Friday between 6am and 9am) Flexibility will be required.

The successful candidate for this position will be expected to attend statutory training courses at a training venue based at the University Park Campus within 6 months commencing employment and any refresher training required as part of the role. The Estates and Facilities have planned training courses throughout the year and there is an option to attend either total of 5 days during a typical week, Monday to Friday or attend/set weekend training courses. Saturday and Sunday, within the year.
