A vacancy has arisen within the established programme team of the Trent Doctoral Training Programme in Clinical Psychology, providing an exciting opportunity to join the team. The programme developed through a partnership of local NHS Trusts in Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire with the Universities of Lincoln and Nottingham. We have a current intake of 32 trainees per year and are approved by the HCPC and accredited by the BPS. The post is based at the University of Nottingham.

We are looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist with post-qualification experience, who is registered with the HCPC and eligible for Chartered status with the BPS. Your main responsibilities will be to assist the Senior Clinical Tutor for Nottinghamshire in delivering the clinical practice component of the programme and support our trainees to develop their clinical competence. This role will also give you the opportunity to contribute to academic teaching, support trainees in a pastoral role and supervise doctoral research. We are looking to recruit someone with a passion for training and supporting the next generation of Clinical Psychologists in the Trent region.

This is a part time post, 14.5 hours per week. The post is offered on a fixed term contract for two years.

Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.

Informal enquiries may be addressed to Danielle De Boos (danielle.deboos@nottingham.ac.uk) or Hayley Cooper (hayley.cooper@nottingham.ac.uk). Please note that applications sent directly to this email address will not be accepted.
