This Opportunity 

We are seeking to recruit a passionate and experienced Head of Cloud Infrastructure to help us grow and develop our existing team. The Head of Cloud Infrastructure is a key technical leadership role which will operate as part of the DTS management team and be responsible for ensuring cloud services are available to support the university 24/7. You will oversee the function and lead a team of skilled specialists to ensure that resources are appropriately allocated, including managing third party contracts/suppliers. You will also establish the strategic direction and future roadmap for the service.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in technical leadership, the ability to inspire and develop staff and experience leading cloud operations/infrastructure activities, at all times operating with a mindset of creativity and continuous improvement. You will be an excellent communicator, problem-solver and adept at managing senior stakeholders and customers.

This post is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
