To support our continued success, we are recruiting a Senior Operations Officer to join our Education and Student Experience team in the Business School.  

As Senior Operations Officer you will be part of an integrated Education and Student Experience (ESE) team that supports the development, promotion and delivery of our undergraduate programmes.  Working with academic and professional services colleagues across the University, you will act as the first point of contact and be responsible for the coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of a range of operational processes and activities, which underpin the Undergraduate programmes.

This will demand the development and application of specialist knowledge and involve proactively planning and coordinating activity. You will work with limited direct supervision and therefore be required to use your initiative, take personal responsibility, think analytically and creatively to solve problems and use excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships and work collaboratively with academic staff and professional services colleagues across the Faculty and in Central Departments to deliver innovative, high quality and compliant services and support.   

You will need good interpersonal skills, work well in a team, be organised, flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced and varied environment.  As someone who learns quickly, is proactive and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, you will help drive forward improvements and deliver excellent service.  In return we will support your development and put in place a personal training programme to help you progress in your career.

This is a fixed-term maternity cover post available from 1 July 2026 – 2 April 2027. Your working hours will be 36.25 hours per week. If you are interested in part-time work (minimum 29 hours per week), we encourage you to apply. Please specify your preferred hours in your application.
