Applications are invited for the role of Education and Student Experience (ESE) Senior Administrator, Natural Sciences based in the Faculty of Science. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with students and staff to support the development of an excellent student experience within Natural Sciences.

The role holder will support the planning and successful delivery of the Natural Sciences ESE portfolio. This will include contributing to the planning, administration and management of the student lifecycle. You will work closely with the rest of the Natural Sciences team and the Faculty ESE team to help operationalise local activity related to the Faculty’s Education and Student Experience Strategic Aims. You will also work with and support the Student Experience Officer to plan, manage and deliver ESE events throughout the year.

Alongside the Natural Sciences Student Experience Officer, Head of ESE, and academic leads you will support and where appropriate, lead on identifying opportunities to improve the student experience. After initiatives have been agreed, you will support and/or manage the resulting projects to completion.

You will also support with collecting and analysing data related to a range of feedback routes such as the National Student Survey (NSS), Student Staff Fora (SSF) and local Natural Sciences surveys.

Excellent communication and relationship management skills will be crucial as you will collaborate with students, with academic and professional services staff across the faculty and institution, proactively engaging all stakeholders.

Along with a passion for working in partnership with students and exploring new ideas, applicants should have proven experience of building relationships with a range of stakeholders and be self-motivated to manage and deliver events and projects with minimal supervision.
