Applications are invited for a Careers Adviser post within the Careers and Employability Service. The successful candidate will be joining a large service that is committed to working together to combine the skills, insights and experience of teams working directly with students, academics, employers and other stakeholders, with those of our enabling teams to develop and deliver a consistently high level of service and professional standards. 

The role holder will join the Careers and Employability Service as a member of the Professional Services Partnerships Team. They will support the delivery of cross-discipline employability education and careers related projects developed in collaboration with other Professional Service Departments (including, but not limited to: Campaign and Alumni Relations, Learning Development, Study Abroad, UoN Sport, Widening Participation, Student Welfare and Counselling, Residential Experience, Sustainability Team, Student Finance and Funding Support) and the Students’ Union. This will involve facilitating face to face workshops and online learning, creating careers information and learning resources, offering one to one appointments, delivering Nottingham Advantage Award modules, and coordinating events. 

The key to success in this role is having the flexibility to handle and progress a variety of tasks and projects at the same time, and the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with colleagues to deliver against multiple agendas and priorities. The successful candidate will be qualified and experienced in career development, professional development, HR, teaching or other related roles where they can demonstrate a track record of innovation, success and impact from high quality delivery. The role will involve occasional evening and weekend work.

The post is available on a permanent, full-time (36.25 hours) basis. Hybrid working options are available, with an expectation that the successful candidate will spend at least 60% of their time working on campus.
