The Student Recruitment Events team is looking for a Student Recruitment Officer (Events) to join its passionate, creative and dedicated team.

The role is perfect for someone who is looking to advance their career in event management as it will involve all aspects of delivering the highest quality events, giving the role holder the chance to demonstrate their experience and knowledge across a variety of activities and disciplines.

The Student Recruitment Events team is responsible for delivering the largest events that take place at the university - Undergraduate Open Days. It also delivers Offer Holder Days, Campus Tours, Postgraduate events, and virtual events as part of a busy calendar to showcase the university to prospective students.

The Student Recruitment Officer (Events) role will be hands-on delivering all of these events, taking the lead on the liaison with their faculty to ensure that our subject activity is being maximised to its full potential and meeting the needs of prospective students. They will also be responsible for allocated projects within the team, while managing their own workstreams in the delivery of the larger events.

The role involves event delivery and planning, stakeholder management, student ambassador management and training, creativity, and problem solving. The role will also provide support to the Head of Student Recruitment Events and the Event Managers, including deputising for the Event Managers if required.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering successful, customer facing events who is solution focused, customer centric, has excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate with a wide ranging audience both orally and in writing. They should be highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage their own workload efficiently.

The nature of this work requires working outside of normal working patterns at evenings and weekends on a semi-regular basis.

This is a permanent, full-time (36.25 hours per week) post.
