As an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our EDI efforts across the institution, developing our network of EDI partners and experts, and providing access to the resources and platforms that they need to bring about change and make things happen.

You will be excited about working with and understanding diverse communities. You effectively influence, challenge the status quo, and grow equitable, inclusive networks.

You will have experience drafting reports, designing and delivering great presentations, developing and implementing strategies and activities, and understanding relevant regulations/legislation. You will be confident with your IT skills.

You’ll be compassionate - conscious of managing issues with sensitivity and handling information confidentially. 

You are committed to lifelong learning, and you have Level 3 educational qualifications (such as Access to HE, BTEC, or A-levels) or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience.

Focusing on our race equality work but with opportunities to work across the breadth of EDI. You will work alongside our diverse and talented team of managers. You will work on various projects and change initiatives, utilising appropriate tools to manage workload effectively and plan delivery.

You’ll be crucial in steering our Race Equality Charter (REC), including monitoring progress, implementing actions, developing our future work, and fostering a diversity, inclusion, and equality culture.

Your work will be strategically aligned with our EDI Priorities linked to our university's strategy and delivery plans.

This is a permanent full-time (36.25 hr/week) position, but we also welcome part-time applications (29+ hr/week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may be considered.
