We are seeking Student Recruitment Support Administrators to join our Student Recruitment Support Hub. The role involves providing top-tier central enquiry and applicant support services throughout the recruitment and admissions cycle.

The role holder will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Enquiry handling: Providing friendly, prompt, and comprehensive responses to information requests from prospective students, parents, and teachers in various formats.
  • Admissions support: Offering timely and accurate services to facilitate the university's admissions processes.
  • Recruitment events: Coordinating and assisting with university-wide recruitment events, as well as those specific to the School or Department.

The Student Recruitment Support Hub is a substantial team dedicated to recruiting students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The Hub oversees various tasks, including enquiry handling, admissions support, and the organisation of recruitment events. Tasks within the Hub are distributed among the University's five faculties, with the role holder primarily working within their designated faculty sub-team.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, a background in customer-oriented roles, exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, and a high level of computer proficiency. The capacity to manage one's workload and collaborate effectively within a team is crucial.

We have multiple posts available. Three are available on a permanent basis and one post will be fixed term until 30th May 2025. All of the roles are full time (36.25 hours). Job share arrangements may be considered.

At present, this position requires on-campus work for a minimum of two days per week, with remote work for the remaining time. The specific days for on-campus work will be determined by your line manager according to operational needs. This arrangement may change during your employment.
