Housekeeping Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced and customer focused Housekeeping Supervisor to join the Halls Management Team on either University Park or Jubilee Campus.
Working within the Halls Management Team you will be responsible for managing large teams of Housekeeping Assistants and overseeing the day to day running of the Halls Housekeeping/cleaning function. Main duties will include staff management, monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards in bedrooms and public spaces, identifying areas for service improvement and all aspects of line managing a team of direct reports. You will also order and maintain linen, chemical and equipment stock levels and monitor the care of equipment within the unit.
Candidates should be customer focused, have some previous staff supervision or management experience and work experience gained within a similar role at a similar level. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of industry recognised cleaning techniques and have experience of stock management.

Hours of work are either 24 or 30 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 to be arranged to include regular weekends with hours worked between 8.00am and 3.00pm. The successful candidate for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which run Monday to Friday mornings. Further details will be given at interview.
