Your role as a Cleaner:

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills, who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas. 

Based at Sutton Bonington Campus, the main duties include the general cleaning of offices, teaching spaces, laboratories, toilets, corridors, and stairwells, providing excellent customer service at all times. 

Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.

Hours of Work: 

  • 15 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged mainly Monday to Fridaybetween the hours 6.00am-9.00am (flexibility will be required).

This position is offered on a permanent rolling contract (15 hours per week) over a 52-week of the year basis (including student vacation periods).

The successful candidates for these positions will be expected to attend statutory training courses and any refresher training required by the department. There are planned training courses throughout the year and different options to attend either during a typical week, Monday to Friday between 9am-2pm or on a set weekend dates at University Park Campus.
