Catering Assistant - Campus Bars

Your role as a Catering Assistant - Campus Bars:
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who take pride in their work and enjoy working in fast paced Catering Environments and who have excellent customer service skills to join our teams at Campus Bars.
Based within one of the busy Campus Bars on University Park main duties will include serving a range of food and beverages, cash handling and general cleaning of the Bar and associated areas providing excellent customer service at all times. Experience of working within a similar fast paced Bar/food service environment is essential.
As a member of our team, you will have a positive and energetic approach and be a colleague that the team look forward to working with and building strong relationships with others to accomplish tasks and shared goals. You will have a keen eye for detail and aim to deliver exceptional operational service and standards at all times and particularly in demanding and busy service times.

Available position:
This is a permanent position which will attract 20% uplift allowance pay for any hours worked at the weekend please see the details of each position below:
Hours of work are 15 per week, (includes up to 5 shifts per week to include regular weekends working on a rotation basis between the hours of between 5.00pm and 11.30pm, on a permanent fractional contract for 30.6 weeks of the year. Flexibility to work a range of shifts will be required.

Successful candidates for these positions will be expected to attend statutory training courses within 6 months commencing employment and any refresher training required as part of the role. The Estates and Facilities have planned training courses throughout the year and there is an option to attend either total of 5 days during a typical week, Monday to Friday or total of 4 days which are arranged on a set weekend dates, Saturday and Sunday, within the year. Further details will be given at the interview.
