Your role as a Cleaner:

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas. 

Based at Portland Building, duties will include the cleaning of wide range of areas and spaces and providing both general and specialised cleaning within the building and commercial outlets at Portland Coffee and Mooch Bar and providing excellent customer service at all times. This position entails providing both planned and reactive cleaning service across the building and supporting the local cleaning team with covering holidays, sickness, deep cleaning, and events at Portland Building when these areas are closed out of term.  

Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Available Post:

This is a part time permanent role. Hours of work are 8 hours per week, 2 days out of 7 to be arranged (mainly Saturday and Sunday working between 6.00am and 10.00am) Flexibility will be required.

Successful candidate will be expected to attend statutory training courses which will run Monday to Friday each month. Further details will be given at interview.
