Catering Assistant - Halls of Residence (part time, fractional)

Your role as a Catering Assistant - Halls:
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy working in a fast-paced catering environment.
Working within a Halls of Residence Catering Unit, you will be responsible for serving customers, using our tills and general cleaning within the area where you work.
As a member of our team, you will have a positive and energetic approach and be a colleague that the team look forward to working with and building strong relationships with others to accomplish tasks and shared goals. You will have an eye for detail and aim to deliver the exceptional operational standards required particularly at busy service times.

Available Positions- Please specify on your application which position you are interested in
Breakfast Service- Hours of work 15 hours per week (3 hours each day, mainly Monday to Friday) working between the hours 7.30am and 10.30am for 30.6 weeks of the year on a permanent fractional contract. Flexibility will be required.
Dinner Service- Hours of work 15 hours per week (3 hours each day, mainly Monday to Friday) working between the hours 5.00pm and 8.00pm for 30.6 weeks of the year on a permanent fractional contract. Flexibility will be required.

Successful candidates for this position will be expected to attend statutory training courses and any refresher training required as part of the role. The department have planned training courses throughout the year and there is an option to attend either during a typical week, Monday to Friday or set weekend dates, Saturday and Sunday, within the year. Further details will be given at the interview.
