Are you looking for a management role delivering excellent professional services that support compliance with regulatory requirements and deliver exceptional student experience? Based in the School of Health Sciences, you will lead a professional team to deliver efficient, compliant and customer-focussed support across our undergraduate programmes.  

Specifically you will; 

  • Manage a team of professional services staff delivering high quality administration across undergraduate programmes, ranging from timetabling, course and curriculum organisation to placements and clinical learning
  • Develop and maintain administrative and professional procedures and processes that meet University and external regulatory requirements 
  • Identify, develop and deliver initiatives that enhance and continuously improve operational systems and processes that support undergraduate programmes
  • Keep up to date with internal and external regulatory changes related to undergraduate programmes, adapting administrative processes to ensure regulations are adhered to
  • Contribute to operational planning of teaching and learning, and to the delivery of Education and Student Experience strategic and operational priorities 

This is a fast-paced role which requires strong organisational skills as well as an ability to understand and interpret regulations and guidance and translate these into actions. You will work closely with administrative and academic staff as well as with Faculty and University departments to deliver excellent administration and ensure deadlines are met, so your communication skills will be key. You will be someone who builds collaborative relationships and motivates others, driving forward change and delivering service excellence. 

This is a permanent position available immediately.  Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week) however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
