Applications are invited for the post of UCAT Marketing and Communications Coordinator. Based in the School of Medicine, you will work as part of a small team supporting the delivery of the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT), an admission test used by a consortium of universities to help select applicants to their medical and dental degree programmes.  The UCAT Consortium is a national organisation based at the University of Nottingham.  More details regarding the test and the organisation can be found on the UCAT website.

You will be a highly motivated and personable individual, who works well as a member of a team, as well as using your own initiative. The successful candidate will support UCAT in the development and delivery of a strategic marketing and communications plan.   This will involve a range of responsibilities, including implementation of marketing plans, creating content for digital and print communications, and evaluating the effectiveness of actions. 

You will be responsible for ensuring materials communicate consistent messages and are written using the appropriate tone and voice for diverse audiences.  You will deliver online presentations to potential test takers and their advisers.  You will also provide support for general administrative duties in the office such as processing bursaries and access arrangements and dealing with candidate enquiries.

You should have previous experience in a marketing role alongside excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.

Excellent IT skills are essential (MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook) alongside experience using content management and/or CX platforms.

The post is offered on a permanent contract. Hours of work are part-time (29 hours per week); hours may be worked across 4 or 5 days. Job share arrangements may be considered. Hybrid working available.
