You are invited to apply for the role of Senior Research Technician within the department of Translational Medical Sciences, School of Medicine. You will be based in the Biodiscovery Institute (https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/research/research-areas/biodiscovery-institute/biodiscovery-institute.aspx), with access to a range of state-of-the-art facilities. The successful applicant will be joining the Naaz-Coker Ovarian Cancer Research Centre (NOVARC); an ovarian cancer centre of excellence at the Biodiscovery Institute.  

The post will provide technical support to NOVARC, with a focus on biobank infrastructure, tissue processing, tissue micro arrays, and immunohistochemistry.  

The post is offered on a fixed term contract for 3 years. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 20 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. Part-time arrangements can be discussed at interview.
