As a Continuing Education Administrator in the School of Health Sciences, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to our portfolio of apprenticeship, postgraduate taught (PGT), and continuing professional development (CPD) programmes. The School provides a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, sport rehabilitation, and for allied health professionals. We aim to educate and nurture the best and brightest students to go on to transform the lives of individuals and communities, locally, nationally, and internationally.   

You will join an established team and work closely with students and apprentices at application stage and throughout the duration of their programme. You will support the onboarding of CPD students, tracking the return of application documentation and processing invoices. This will require regular online communication with internal and external stakeholders, as well as an ability to process and compile data and spreadsheets accurately. You will maintain and update Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Teams pages, support the delivery of training and clinical skills sessions, as well as supporting the organisation of online meetings and events. As such, you will need excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, together with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

This is a permanent position available from 01 August 2024. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week) however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 20 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may be considered. A hybrid working arrangement with blended approach of office and home working each week is possible with agreement. To meet the requirements of the role, Thursdays will be worked in the office.
