We are seeking a motivated and collaborative administrative assistant to support data collection from study participants in the YorQuit study. This multi-centre randomised controlled trial, funded by Yorkshire Cancer Research, aims to test the effectiveness and acceptability of various approaches to smoking cessation among patients attending for community-based lung health checks in Bradford, Hull, Manchester and Leeds. The study is led by Professor Rachael Murray from the University of Nottingham and Professor Matthew Callister from Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust. 

You will contact study participants by telephone, completing questionnaires at set follow up times. You will be required to keep accurate records of participant responses, and send postal questionnaires to participants you have been unable to contact by telephone.  You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and high attention to detail.

This position is fixed term for 1 year from start date. Your working hours will be 16 hours per week which are flexible and will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
