The University’s ‘People & Culture Strategic Delivery Plan” outlines the need for a strong plan and direction for an ever-changing environment and defines the framework to create strong foundations to align to people priorities across the business.   The plan supports and underpins the University of Nottingham values of Inclusivity, ambition, openness, fairness and respect.

Working on a hybrid basis, you will advise, coach, influence and challenge senior stakeholders on significant HR issues and proactively influence a climate of change and alignment of schools/departments to the University’s strategic aims.

You will also be responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive and effective HR service and for the provision of high quality, business focused and strategic level advice. You will be supported by a team of Assistant HRBP’s and the wider HR team.

You will also work in a matrix way across the wider HR team and collaborate to deliver the priorities and HR Transformation plans for the University.

About you

An enthusiastic and strategic thinking Business Partner to join our Human Resources team on our journey, to provide an excellent service to a portfolio of Faculties and Departments.   A confident individual who can influence and positively challenge Senior Leaders.

You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), CIPD Level 5 or above and demonstrate substantial experience of managing and implementing change projects and transformative processes. You will have experience of leading strategic and operational HR matters within a large complex organisation.

This role is permanent, 36.25hrs per week.
