This is a maternity cover role and as a Contracts Officer you will work with other Contracts Officers to support primarily the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science and will need to build productive relationships with stakeholders to understand the research context and agree appropriate contract terms.  You will need to work with other parts of Research Operations and Faculty staff to ensure a seamless support service to academic staff, funders and collaborators.  You will also provide advice on and interpretation of contract terms to colleagues where required.  Experience in supporting contracts in the areas of Medicine and Health Sciences would be considered an asset.

You should be committed to working in and contributing to an environment of continuous improvement and will contribute towards the ongoing development and implementation of effective procedures and systems supporting research contracts and interfaces with other teams.  

This role is available on a fixed term contract until 30/09/2025. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may be considered.
