We are looking for an Administrator with a passion for delivering high quality professional administrative support.

The Finance team has recently undergone a senior restructure and as part of the new team this role will present an exciting opportunity to help shape and build the administrative function for the Directorate and wider Finance team.  

Alongside this, the role holder will also work in conjunction with the Executive Assistant in supporting the Internal Audit Director and team with their administrative needs plus providing cover for the Executive Assistant in their absence.

The successful candidate should have experience of working in a busy office environment supporting senior leaders and working independently as required managing your own workload, whilst demonstrating a can do approach to help other members of the team.  You will need to be able to navigate changing priorities with flexibility and adaptability, have strong organisational skills to handle multiple tasks precisely and show proficiency using a variety of University IT systems.

The successful candidate would be expected to be onsite at one of our campuses for a minimum of two days a week but also have the flexibility that on occasions they will need to come onto campus on additional days to help facilitate giving out equipment to colleagues or for other business needs as they arise. 

You should be educated to A level, or equivalent plus hands on experience in a similar role. Alternatively, a proven track record of significant relevant work experience.

This role is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).  Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours.
