As the home of the Technician Commitment, we proudly champion technicians' critical role in teaching, research and innovation.

Despite their vital contributions, the technical workforce has long been under-recognised. We are here to change that.

In this role, you will:

  • Promote our pioneering Herschel Programme for Women in Technical Leadership, the Executive Programme for Strategic Technical Leadership, training and development opportunities and T Level industry placements
  • Engage with the Technician Commitment community to share best practice and support twice-yearly events
  • Gather analytics to support the team’s data-driven approach to marcomms delivery

Based at the University of Nottingham, you’ll be part of our small marketing, communications and engagement team championing technicians nationally. There will be some travelling to events outside of Nottingham required for this role.

You’ll help to promote our pioneering leadership and development programmes, including Knowledge Exchange Placements and other key initiatives that elevate technicians’ visibility and careers and ideally have 2 years' experience in a similar role.

If you have exceptional attention to detail, strong copywriting skills, and a passion for high-quality communications, we’d love to hear from you.

What we offer

  • A friendly, diverse, and supportive working environment
  • A hybrid working arrangement with the blended approach of home and office working each week
