About the Role
Total number of hours for this assignment is 200, to be spread over five months (October 2025-February 2026). The duties will include:
- Observing a series of training sessions, in-person at University of Nottingham.
- Assisting with the design of a schedule of questions for research interviews.
- Conducting a series of semi-structured interviews at UoN.
- Transcription and analysis of qualitative data.
- Attending research team meetings.
- Contributing to publication of findings.

About You
Skills and experience required for the role:
- PhD (or near-completion) involving qualitative research methods.
- Knowledge of qualitative research approaches and ethics.
- Experience of designing, conducting, transcribing, and analysing the results of semi-structured research interviews.
- Ability to work independently and in a small team.

What Next
Candidates invited to interview will be asked to complete a short task involving analysis of an audio excerpt of a research interview; explaining, summarising, and drawing out salient points to address a (provided) research question.
