We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to join our Education and Student Experience (ESE) team as part of the School of Law at the University of Nottingham. You would be part of our friendly and high-performing Administrative, Professional and Managerial (APM) team, providing a high level of support for ESE activity and processes within the School.

This role is focused on supporting our undergraduate programmes and students. Working closely with our academics, and the rest of the Law ESE team, as well as ESE colleagues across the Faculty of Social Sciences, you will support our ESE processes and activities during the academic year: from induction and welcome, through timetabling, teaching, monitoring and quality assurance, to graduation and prizegiving.

You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to take the initiative and thrive in a fast-paced and varied environment. As someone who can quickly build strong collaborative relationships, you will be a key member of a team that is driving forward change and delivering service excellence.

What can we offer you? A supportive and friendly set of colleagues, hybrid working arrangements with a blend of office and home working, as well as the University's attractive holiday, pension and benefits package.

Our success is delivered by our people. We believe that a diverse and supportive environment, bringing different perspectives to our work and allowing people to thrive, is the best platform for cutting-edge research and excellent teaching and operational support. We are seeking individuals from the widest possible range of talents and backgrounds, and we will appoint not just based on past achievements, but also on your potential for the future.

This role is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. Arrangements for job shares would be considered.

Please note that we are also recruiting for a similar, but distinct, role in the Law ESE APM team. We are asking for separate applications for these two roles but there is an overlap in the skills and experience required. If you are interested, we would encourage you to apply for both roles. Feel free to use the same answer where the shortlisting question is the same.

Interviews will be held w/c 20th February 2023
