Salary:  £28,762 to £32,348 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post to work with Professor Stephen Jackson on an MRC funded project entitled “Investigating the efficacy and potential therapeutic benefits of rhythmic peripheral nerve stimulation for mental health conditions that are highly co-occurring with Tourette syndrome”. The project will use quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate the potential beneficial effects of peripheral nerve stimulation for several common mental health conditions.

Candidates should have degree or equivalent in Psychology or related discipline, and would ideally have completed a masters degree in a related discipline. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of behavioural research methods, good programming and data analysis skills. 

The successful candidate will join one of the large and vibrant research team that has access to a number of well-resourced neuromodulation facilities. The School is located in the attractive University Park campus, with an adjacent tram stop allowing easy access to the city of Nottingham.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2023. Hours of work are part time (21.75 hours per week).
