EDI Manager and Development Lead in Student and Campus Life

Salary:  £42,155 to £53,353 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Are you looking to take a key role in providing leadership, advice, delivery and evaluation of development opportunities and training pertaining to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion? Are you also looking for your next opportunity to line manage and support the work of an excellent team of EDI Professionals?

Our EDI Manager and Development Lead for Students and Campus Life will drive real change and innovation in a strategically important area for the University.

As part of the EDI pillar in the Student and Campus Life Division, you will work with team members and key stakeholders to help define the future state of the EDI development and learning offer, drawing up training strategies which enable the University to progress robust, considered and informed approaches to EDI.

You will foster a culture of continuous learning and act as the prime contact to support our teams develop capabilities in relation to EDI. You will work flexibly and iteratively, using your expertise to review learning needs and deliver a variety of opportunities to students and colleagues at all levels. You will work to act on the University’s APP plans and enhance understanding of target groups, ensuring stakeholders across the University are able to deliver their services equitably and in a way that progresses inclusion.

This position is offered on a permanent basis. Hours are full time (36.25 hours per week); however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours.
