Salary:  £32,348 to £43,414 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The University of Nottingham is looking to appoint a Data and Systems Manager to join the Accommodation Services team. Leading a small team, you will report to the Deputy Head of Accommodation Services and be responsible for all aspects of data, analysis and reporting, as well as managing, configuring and developing the software and systems used by the Accommodation Services team.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in data and a passion to drive and shape change. You will have good knowledge of data analysis, data monitoring and the ability to explain and champion data management best practice. You will also have excellent IT skills including the use of tools and technologies appropriate to the specialisms in the role, such as reporting tools and more advanced Microsoft products. Expertise using a student record system, PMS system or similar would be desirable, but not essential. 

You will succeed in this role by demonstrating excellent communication and relationship building skills, you will be working closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will also lead a small team and will need to be an effective people manager, promoting a ‘can do’ culture, instilling flexibility, responsiveness and a right first-time approach within the team.

This position is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week). Arrangements for job share would be considered.
