We have an exciting opportunity for a CAFM-led Business Systems & Analytics Manager to join the Business Support Team within the Estates and Facilities Department.

The Estates and Facilities Department at the University of Nottingham provides strategic and operational services support to the University infrastructure, award-winning campus, buildings and landholdings. We are a large and diverse department employing approximately 1200 people and provide a wide range of services across our UK sites.

As a successful candidate, you will initially work within the project team supporting the implementation of the new CAFM system (Planon); you will actively participate in workshops and training to gain a thorough understanding of the system. After the go-live, you will provide first-line support to the users of the system and will identify areas for improvement, ensuring maximum effectiveness is achieved and the development roadmap is managed. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of the system and will provide specialist technical advice to internal and external stakeholders analysing data and providing reports to senior managers as required. Over time you will also develop knowledge and understanding of other systems that are within the remit of the Estates & Facilities Business Support Team.

Broad system management experience providing IT applications and systems support, ideally within Facilities Management, is essential for this role; experience of working within the Estates Helpdesk/ Asset Management Team would be advantageous. Your time management and organisation skills will be a real strength, with a flexible approach to your work and a high degree of initiative. You will have good analytical skills and will feel comfortable presenting complex information with clarity.

You will be committed to working in an environment of continuous improvement and will contribute towards the ongoing development and implementation of effective procedures and systems supporting Estates & Facilities and its interfaces with other teams.

This position is offered on a permanent basis. Hours are full-time (36.25 hours per week), involving a blend of on-campus and home working.
