Salary:  £22,149 to £24,948 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The School of Health Sciences is looking to appoint a Student Support Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved with all aspects of student experience across the school with a particular focus on recruitment and transition to university. 

This post will provide comprehensive administrative support to activities and initiatives associated with the Education and Student Experience (ESE) administration for the School.

The role holder will support the Student Experience Coordinator with the implementation of systems and processes to continually improve the service provided. 

This will include:

  • Support of events initiatives and activities
  • Student communication
  • Supporting admissions staff with activities including open days and offer holder days
  • Supporting student attendance monitoring 
  • Supporting the Disability Liaison officer and Practice Team with pre-course

To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record of relevant experience demonstrating skills such as: 

  • Good communications skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality
  • Experience of organising events

This is permanent post. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
