The University of Nottingham is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Biomedical Science (Pathophysiology/Pathology/Histopathology) for the University of Nottingham Medical School at Derby, based at Royal Derby Hospital.

You will work directly with the course leads for the BSc Medical Physiology and Therapeutics and the MBBS Graduate entry Medicine to deliver a consistently excellent standard of teaching in Biomedical Science with a particular focus on Pathology/Histopathology. You will convene modules on our undergraduate programmes, supervise undergraduate projects and contribute to assessment processes. You will provide a consistently excellent standard of teaching and support for student learning that is underpinned by scholarship related to the discipline.

You may be clinical or non-clinical but must have a PhD in Biomedical Sciences or the equivalent in professional qualification and experience within the field. You will have a high-level analytical capability to facilitate conceptual thinking, innovation, and creativity, in addition to proven experience in providing pastoral support to students.

This role is offered on full-time (36.25 hours), permanent basis. Job share arrangements may be considered.
