Salary:  £32,348 to £43,414 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The University of Nottingham, School of Veterinary Medicine and Science wishes to expand its Foundation Year teaching team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of future veterinary surgeons and teaching by sharing your knowledge and experience to ensure competence and inspire life-long learning.

We are now seeking a number of key staff to support our School in order to continue to deliver at the same high standard we have become well known for. 

You will be an important part of the stage of our exciting journey, as we look to continue to push the boundaries and develop a world leading Veterinary School.

The School offers two innovative veterinary courses, a five-year course and a six-year course. The six-year course includes a Foundation Year, for students without the entry requirements for the five-year course. The Foundation Year includes Biology and Chemistry content equivalent to A-level standard, alongside modules in numeracy and animal care and behaviour.  We are seeking a The School requires a Teaching Associate with the flexibility to teach Biology and Chemistry on the Foundation Year course and to contribute to teaching on the 5 year BVM BVS programme.  Candidates should have a 2.1 Degree (equivalent) in Veterinary Science or a related subject.

This is a permanent, full time post (36.25 hours). Arrangements for job share would be considered.
