An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Manager position within the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, based at the Sutton Bonington Campus. The person appointed will fully support the teaching activities of the school and will be responsible for the leadership and management of the School’s Anatomy and Surgery technical team along with daily management of the dissection facilities and resources. 

Candidates should possess a Minimum of HNC or equivalent plus substantial work experience in a relevant role, or a proven track record with extensive work experience in a relevant technical or scientific role

This post will require planning and organisational skills along with experience and knowledge of sourcing and preparing resources for anatomy/surgery teaching. An Understanding of Health and Safety within a teaching laboratory environment, along with an understanding of the implications of non-compliance are essential for the role. 

This is a permanent, full-time role (36.25 hours per week). Arrangements for job share may be considered.
