We welcome applications for this 18 month fixed term (or internal secondment) opportunity to project manage the student experience elements of our Faculty’s Education and Student Experience (ESE) strategy). We welcome applicants from everyone and value the varied perspectives and experiences that a diverse team can bring.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of our student experience to improve the support, personal development and opportunities for our students working directly with the faculty’s departments. This involves working closely with academic staff, departments, students and marketing, leading new projects, providing solutions to problems and continually learning from our student feedback.

You will work closely with the Faculty Education and Student Experience management team and wider student experience team leading activity in a number of key strategic areas.  These include action plan project management, resource and operations planning and process development commensurate with a large, multi-department Faculty.  You will convene project working groups, be a member of relevant department committees and be required to maintain a good overview of changes within the University and the wider sector.  Working in partnership with our students to co-create solutions will be a core part of the role.

You will have project management skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.  Proven influencing and negotiation skills alongside working with stakeholders to gather feedback, propose and implement changes will also be essential.

We believe diverse teams provide the best opportunities to be innovative and forward thinking, especially when developing our student experience. We understand having a mix of opinions, broad perspectives, lived experiences and different ways of solving problems enhances our day-to-day work and enriches our community.
