            <p id="isPasted"><strong>About the Role/Team</strong></p><p>We are looking for an experienced and customer focused Housekeeping Supervisor to join the Halls Management Team on University Park.</p><p>Working within the Halls Management Team you will be responsible for managing large teams of Housekeeping Assistants and overseeing the day to day running of the Halls Housekeeping/cleaning function.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Main duties will include staff management, monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards in bedrooms and public spaces, identifying areas for service improvement and all aspects of line managing a team of direct reports. You will also order and maintain linen, chemical and equipment stock levels and monitor the care of equipment within the unit.&nbsp;</p><p>Candidates should be customer focused, have some previous staff supervision or management experience and work experience gained within a similar role at a similar level. This includes&nbsp;</p><p>the general cleaning of library areas, retails outlets, toilets, communal areas, corridors, and stairwells, etc. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service at all times and will work either independently or as a part of a team.</p><p>This role will include frequent lifting of above 10kg and moving of a range of items that can be heavy. The role can be physically demanding but lifting aids and full training will be provided.</p><p>Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable but not essential.</p><p>Further details regarding the duties for the role can be found on the attached job role profile.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Positions Available</u></strong></p><p>Weekend Post 1: Hours of work 6 hours per week (2 days of 7 to be arranged per week/ mainly Saturday and Sunday), between 6am - 9.00am. Flexibility will be required.&nbsp;</p><p>Weekend Post 2: Hours of work 8 hours per week (2 days of 7 to be arranged per week/ mainly Saturday and Sunday), between 6am - 10.00am.
