            <p id="isPasted"><strong>Your Role as Welcome Point Receptionist</strong></p><p>The Welcome Points within the Halls of Residence are responsible for delivering professional and high-quality support to the student journey throughout their time at the University of Nottingham by enhancing their experience through the provision of excellent customer services. The Welcome Point Reception Team provide the first point of contact for students, contractors, colleagues, visitors and building users.&nbsp;</p><p>Working within one of our Welcome Points on University Park you will have a flexible and proactive approach to resolving problems and answering queries quickly and effectively. In addition to excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure you will have the ability to prioritise your workload in response to differing needs and deadlines of our varied customer base.</p><p>The successful candidate will be required to design and maintain databases, spreadsheets and filing systems. You will also provide administrative support to the Hall Management team including typing letters and emails, producing purchase orders and managing the key and access card stock throughout the day.&nbsp;</p><p>Candidates should have relevant vocational qualifications NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent with some relevant experience or have substantial work experience gained in an administration role within a similar fast-paced customer facing environment.&nbsp;</p><p>The post is offered on a permanent contract. Hours of work are full time, 36.25 per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged to include weekends between 8.00am and 6.00pm. (This will include University and Public Holidays on a rota basis) Flexibility will be required. In this role, you will support students through 1:1 appointments, group work and workshops. High levels of interpersonal and communication skills will be key to the role, and you will act as an interface between statutory services and the wider university to ensure the needs of students are being met.&nbsp;</p><p>The successful candidate with have significant experience of working in Secondary Mental Health Services and be skilled in case and risk management with individuals experiencing significant mental health difficulties.&nbsp;</p><p>The Mental Health Advisory Service sits within the wider wellbeing service, and the role will work positively with other colleagues in the service in a collegiate way making good teamworking skills essential to this role.&nbsp;</p><p>You will be predominantly based at the Cripps Health Centre located on University Park but may be asked to work at other locations on University Park and our other Nottingham campuses.&nbsp;</p><p>You will be a fully trained and registered mental health professional (Mental Health Social Worker, Community Psychiatric Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Clinical Psychologist). You will be based at the QMC, Nottingham University Hospitals and will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team coordinating multi-centre UK and international stroke trials.&nbsp;</p><p>You will be a highly motivated and personable individual, who works well as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, as well using your own initiative. The successful candidate will support the stroke trials team to set up new trials and close down completed trials. Support will include processing trial payments, maintenance of trial information in the databases and trial files. Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Responsibility for the financial administration of the school&rsquo;s research funded projects/awards, overseeing the provision of effective support for all related expenditure.</li><li>Maintaining accurate details of internal and externally funded research project applications and outcomes, liaising with the Faculty of Arts Research Accelerator team in relation to project proposals.</li><li>Support Research Directors to collate, analyse and present research data/information. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Support annual school and university academic processes, such as the school Research Leave (RL) process, maintaining the rota and administering application and final report processes.</li><li>Provide administrative support for all school research funding schemes to include the processing of applications, award email/guidance, monitoring of expenditure and collation of final reports.</li><li>Collaborating closely with other Senior Administrators to ensure the smooth operation of the School Office.</li><li>Providing line management to the Finance and Research Administrator.</li></ul><p><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For:</strong></p><p>We need a flexible, supportive team player who can juggle tight deadlines and prioritize conflicting tasks. You should have experience in establishing new administrative systems and procedures, alongside managing resources. Our Statutory Student Reporting Team is responsible for analysing the full student lifecycle and University performance - from recruitment and progression to attainment, satisfaction, and rankings. This provides insight that helps leaders deliver an outstanding student experience at Nottingham and enables the University to achieve its strategic priorities.</p><p>Working with colleagues across academic and professional services, you will produce analysis and insight from complex data, and help to develop performance reporting, supporting strategic initiatives that strengthen a data-informed culture across the University. This role will have a particular focus on reporting aligned to the Access and Participation Plan.</p><p>You will be highly proficient at exploring data to answer questions and solve problems, conduct rigorous analysis, and create clear, engaging visualisations that support decision-making.
