            <p id="isPasted">We are seeking an Access and Participation Plan (APP) Programme Manager (maternity cover) to ensure the University continues to meet its commitments to equality of opportunity, student success and regulatory compliance.&nbsp;</p><p>Access and participation plans set out how higher education providers will improve equality of opportunity for underrepresented groups to access, succeed in and progress from higher education. The focus of our access and participation plan is on improving access and outcomes for specific groups of students. Data shows that, compared to their peers at the University of Nottingham, access, outcomes are lower for certain groups of students. For further details of our plan, please refer to our APP website.&nbsp;</p><p>As the Access and Participation Plan Programme Manager, you will provide strategic oversight, coordination and assurance for the University&rsquo;s Access and Participation Plan (APP). &nbsp;</p><p>Working closely with the Director of Education and Student Experience Standards, senior leaders, APP intervention leads and professional services colleagues, you will act as the institutional expert responsible for coordinating delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving progress against APP objectives.&nbsp;</p><p id="isPasted">The role provides strategic oversight, governance and assurance, enabling senior leaders to make informed decisions. The post holder will build engagement across the University, work closely with intervention leads and stakeholders to deliver the APP, and ensure that the plan remains aligned with sector expectations, regulatory changes and institutional priorities. Experience of access, participation, equality or regulatory compliance work is highly relevant, though we also welcome transferable experience from related strategic or programme roles.</p><p>Further information is available in the role profile.
